WAS MYSTERY CONTRAIL FROM CHINESE MISSILE?

I purposely waited for all the hoopla to calm down before tackling this Mystery Contrail business . . .

Here's the official Party line, from the State-controlled Left-Wing Mainstream Media:

PENTAGON: ‘MYSTERY MISSILE’ CONTRAIL WAS PROBABLY AIRPLANE

WASHINGTON(AP) The Pentagon says that an airplane and not a missile launch was the likely cause of a large vapor trail in the skies off Southern California’s coast.

KCBS/KCAL’s Sky 2 taped the vapor trail that many viewers thought resembled the cloudy track of a missile in flight. But military officials said they did not know of any rockets being launched in the area.

And here's the intel analysis, from the Hot Sheets:

    from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin:

EXPERTS: MYSTERY CONTRAIL WAS FROM CHINESE MISSILE
'Muted response' was decision 'made by the President himself'

"The decision to officially announce that North America was not threatened . . . and all the excitement was due to an aircraft leaving a contrail is a decision that reaches beyond the four-star general level and goes directly to a decision made by the commander-in-chief." - Dr. Lyle J. Rapacki of Sentinel Intelligence Services, LLC.

So what have we got? Depending on who you listen to, it was either a harmless contrail from a jet, or it was a missile - a very big rocket - possible launched from a submarine. A lot of reputable witnesses believe it is the later.

And if it was a missile launch - this leads to further questions: WHO, WHAT (what is it - a missile or a jet contrail?), (we already know WHERE & WHEN) and WHY -

WHO has this kind of capability? and WHO has the motivation to execute such a bold move?

    and

    WHY?

"We must question the timing of this shot across our bow. The president was abroad being diplomatic, which means trying to placate China which is becoming overly concerned with our handling a totally out-of-control deficit in spending." - retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General Jim Cash.

And in case you're wondering - yes, China DOES have nuclear submarines . . . . they have been busy over the past decade:
