Coral

Yesterday afternoon the husband and I went into Myer to buy him some new shirts, and with me flapping along in my Witchery Wedges which half the sole has come away from the shoe, and is held together by sticky tape, decided I probably need some new wedges. Husband didn’t see it this way, and said perhaps I should just take them to be repaired by the shoe guy..


After he got his shirts and ties, which he definitely does not need more of, he has at least 1000 shirts and ties, it was my time to shine. Down we went to the shoe department and I locked eyes on these gorgeous RMK wedges. They came in tan, black and coral.


The practical side of me knew that I should get the tan, as I would get more wear out of them, but the summer loving girl in me knew that coral was the colour to get. I was prancing back and forth to the mirror trying to decide, before husband finally said "Get the tan. You will wear them more". I pouted and put the coral back and then he said "No, No, get the coral - you want them more". He wasn't wrong.

After a lovely fellow shopper told me I should get the coral, I couldn't go wrong.
When the Sales Assistant got me my size, the pair she gave me were stained and tried to tell me it was just the leather - I think not. Anyway, I ended up with a good pair and upon getting to the register found out they were on sale - $112 , not a bad little bargain!!!


Welcome to my wardrobe!!! 


I wore them with a white dress yesterday to a BBQ at Mums house, and took some photos but after putting them on the computer, it died and reverted back to files from 1 week back. Dang it.

ZARA Yo.

As you probably know by now, the Zara circus has come to town.



I was adamant that I would not line up for Zara, but I did line up for about 2 minutes this morning.



I also went on Thurs and Fri after work but walked straight in.



Here are some photos that I took on Thursday, before being advised, politely, by security that cameras are prohibited! Whatevs.




A lot of the clothes are brightly coloured, and on trend, and I don't really do either of those styles well, but there are still lots of basics and classic pieces that I have my eye on.



Whilst I have heard that the quality is really poor, I don't agree, considering how cheap the prices are, it is better quality than most other chain stores.


Love this little dress, which was $69.95 but they are all out of small sizes.



I noticed that there was hardly any small sizes at all actually.

Like my new Zara heels?



I saw these yesterday and they had 5 pairs left, and only one size 36.



I literally had $50 to my name, so rang S and asked him to come down, but he was in Malvern and did not make it in time.



We went back today to get them, and they were GONE!!



I was devo. I found the black pair on the otherside of the store, and snatched them up.






When we were making our way to the register I saw a glimpse of orange underneath a display table and scooped them up, it was the 36! You would think I had just solved cancer by the way I reacted. #winning.

Geefa must be so proud, having a Zara bag as a daughter.

I also bought some black pants, which is really saying something as I don't really wear pants that are not jeans, due to the fact that my big toosh and thighs/hips don't agree with pants, but I bought some capri pants for $49 which are full length on my short stubby legs. Winning.
