Instagram Shizz

The wedding is taking over my life. I am so over it, I just want it over and done with. I never want to see flowers, tulle, mints or seating plans – ever again.






Of course, I am really excited for it, but am still over all the planning. It’s taken its toll on me. I have a wrinkle. Well, it’s more of a fine line – but it is still there!!






I had a bridezilla moment yesterday when S cracked a joke about planning his get away car to leave me at the alter. I told him that in no circumstances did I want to hear that joke again, it’s too close to the wedding and I am overly sensitive about anything wedding related. The poor kid looked wide eyed and shocked. I usually laugh at his jokes, not storm off and throw a tantrum.



He took me out to breakfast at The European to make me happy again, but the toast was too freaking hard, I couldn’t cut it with the knife provided, so S hacked through it, and then it cut the roof of my mouth. Gah.

I’ve been wearing my shoes around, to dancing mainly, and making sure they are comfortable for the day. I’ve had lots of comments on them.



They snagged the bottom of my wedding dress at my fitting, and we didn’t know what to do. I made it clear that the shoes are non negotiable.







I want this hatinator. I have no plans to go to the races this year though.

Bread. Sparkly Shoes.

Last weekend I was prancing around the apartment wearing my wedding shoes and eating peanut butter on toast at the same time.
You see where this is going don't you?
So here I am, prancing, eating, prancing, eating and then I dropped the toast.
It landed peanut butter side down about 0.05cm from my shoe.
I screamed bloody murder.
I thought they were covered in peanut butter.


Thankfully, it missed.
Shiskabobs I won't be doing that again.


S's Mum makes this delish bread and takes it to church, hence why I call it church bread - but last week she made the whole batch just for me.
I've put on a couple of kilos lately, I think because so many people have asked me if I plan on losing weight for the wedding.
The more people ask, the more I tend to eat!!!!

I can't capture the sparkle or the true colour of these shoes on photo which drives me nuts.



I want to wear them out and about before the wedding (which is 6 months away today) but don't want to ruin them.

Christian Louboutin - Wedding Shoes!

If you are a regular reader, you will know that I was desperate for the CL Margi Diam Strass heels for the wedding.


I originally wanted them in blue but then thought I should get silver, but could not find either silver or blue in my size.


When we got to LA I found them both in Barneys, yet the smallest size was an 8. I wear a 6 or 6.5.


When I saw the blue, I was in love.


S said "You can't wear blue! What will people think?! You have to get the silver!!"
So we left LA, with neither.
I got to Vegas and they had the silver in a 5.5 - My heel was hanging over the edge and the lady was really rude telling me if I wanted them so bad, I would just wear them like that.
As if. Stupid Woman.
Then we get to NY and they do not have them in Bergdorf, Saks or Barneys in my size and none of the CL stores are answering their phones! I ended up going to CL head office as it was a block from my hotel and demanding they tell me where to find them haha.
Silver are sold out US wide in my size, so I went for what I wanted all along - the blue!!!



Hello my prettys!!!


I love that even the heel stoppers come with a mini dust bag! So precious.
My Dad said "My bike riding shoes accessories come in mini dust bags - but they cost $500!!"
Me: "Sorry Geef, these cost well over $500"


Ah I love them so much!!!!!
They look darker in photos.

I went to Crown Casino on Sunday as my Mum was staying there, and we went to a restaurant where they told me I couldn't come in with my thongs on (waitress on a power trip) so I changed into these, as I had them in the car to show Mum, and they glitter so much that I had SIX compliments on them whilst walking back to where they were eating!


Now that is a heel.







These are the silver, and whilst they really are stunning, they just would not have been right for me!
